Lakme Fashion Week 2019: Bollywood Stars Left Us Speechless With Their High Quotient

The biggest and most prestigious fashion extravaganza Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 finally came to an end. Celebrations were taken a notch higher with the biggest faces of Bollywood acting as showstoppers for designers who showcased their latest collection on the runway. Check below to see who's who of the industry made heads turn in some sleek and stunning outfits.
The grand event opened with Katrina Kaif, who turned the showstopper for veteran designer Manish Malhotra. Dressed in an elegant black heavily embellished lehenga with intricate golden work teamed with a matching blouse, the actress set the ramp on fire as she dazzled in front of hundreds of eyes. She accessorized the outfit with a statement necklace, and a pair of studs to keep the look subtle.
The glam quotient was on the top when Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan brought down the curtains of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019, as she turned muse for designer duo Gauri and Nainika.
The actress opted for a gothic look in a black off-shoulder gown with an exaggerated tail and net details. The look was all gothic, rounded out with black nail paint and dark lip shade. Before walking along the runway, the actor also appeared for press interviews and dressed in a red one-shoulder gown with ruffles and pleat detailing.
"Walking each season again feels very special. This feels more special because of Gauri and Nainika. We embody the power of women. The freedom of what women want, whether it’s (about) being married, wanting to work, wanting to make your voice heard," said Kareena.
On the last day of the fashion week, Kangana Ranaut like every time set the ramp ablaze with her look as she turned showstopper for designer Disha Patil.
The actress looked stunning in an intricate pale bluish-lavender colored embroidered lehenga with matching satin blouse, teamed with a one-sided, knotted dupatta wrap.
Leaving every one stunned at Lakme Fashion Week, Genelia D’Souza grabbed eye-balls while making a comeback on the ramp after five years. Genelia strutted down the runway in a beguiling red Lehenga with golden embroidery and zari work. With her bold goth makeup as she highlighted her eyes with kohl and wore a dark maroon lip color, the yummy mummy looked like a divine goddess.
Malaika Arora walked the ramp for designer duo Diya and Rajvvir in marsala hued ensemble. She took our breaths away with a maroon high-slit lehenga with ruffled butterfly sleeves paired with a plunging neckline choli.
Shilpa Shetty was the showstopper for designer Punit Balana’s festive collection. The halter-necked choli showed off the actress’s toned abs and had mirror work all over it. Her look was completed with hair styled in loose curls and dewy make-up.
Urvashi Rautela turned into a princess on the ramp on day five of Lakme Winter/Festive Fashion Week 2019. She opted for a stunning silver full-length princess gown which has gorgeous embellishments and a sheer cape. She accessorized her sizzling look with statement earrings and went bold with smokey eyes.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Disha Patani turned showstoppers for designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, who presented their latest collection, "Interstellar".
Disha can be seen turning heads with her dazzling high slit number thus creating magic at the box office. She also completed her look with a deep metallic blue color on her lids, along with subtle cheek highlights.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann was seen in black head to toe with a sparkling, embellished black suit.
After walking the ramp with her boyfriend Farhan Akhtar for the first day of the fashion week, Shibani Dandekar backed at the runway as she turns show stopper for Bandana Narula. The Bollywood beauty sashayed down in a gradient ombre lehenga in white and lilac which was paired with a printed corset top.
Ananya Panday marked her debut on the ramp on Saturday as a showstopper for designers Anushree Reddy and Arpita Mehta. Panday can be seen donning an intricately embellished lehenga with huge flower motifs at the hem. The look was rounded out with pink lip shade, hair parted at the center and smokey eyes.

Along with Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria also made her Lakme Fashion Week debut in label Ritu Kumar's latest collection. The Student of the Year 2 debutante looked like a doll in a classic black dress and styled it up with a crisp white shirt underneath it and black thigh-high booties. A fringe belt cinched her waist and accentuated her gorgeous curves.
