"Chennai Express" Producer Karim Morani's Daughter Tested Positive For Coronavirus

The entire family is consequently in isolation after Karim Morani's daughter Shaza is confirm to carry coronavirus.

The younger daughter of producer Karim Morani, Shaza, has been tested positive for coronavirus, according to a SpotBoyE report. The entire family is in self-quarantine at their residence in Juhu, Mumbai while Shaza has been rushed to Nanavati Hospital.

As per the report of BMC Corporator Renu Hansraj, the whole house of Morani is under blockade and there are nine people who live in the building. Every one of them will be tested tomorrow and they will take all steps in order to be co-operative with them.

Karim Morani also sent his text message to several people and it was published to the daily. Karim Morani said that his daughter had not come in contact with any foreign traveler and didn’t have any coronavirus symptoms. It was his duty to inform this as “we are law-abiding citizens”. He added that his daughter was going to be kept in isolation at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Karim Morani has made movies like Ra.One and Chennai Express. The filmmaker then confirmed that Shaza has now been in the hospital while the rest of his family are getting tested for the novel coronavirus.

In the meantime, singer Kanika Kapoor who was the first Indian celebrity to contract COVID-19 has eventually tested negative during her 6th test. She was admitted to a hospital in Lucknow where she was treated for COVID-19. After her sixth test, she has been discharged and is heading home post 18 days.

Kanika Kapoor has got three FIRs against her charges of negligence for taking part in various social events despite contracting the novel coronavirus and having received instructions from the authorities to quarantine herself at home.
