Janhvi Kapoor Gets Mercilessly Trolled For Donning Outfit Copied From International Brand

Janhvi Kapoor’s new magazine cover shoot for Cosmopolitan India’s January 2019 issue has been called out and been trolled as it's too close to an international brand.

Young actress Janhvi Kapoor has recently received negative comments and been the target of poking fun due to the holographic outfit which was allegedly copied from an international brand. Janhvi wore this dress when she was shooting for a magazine cover. Appearing on the photoshoot, Dhadak star donned in a shimmering blue and pink dress designed by Purple Paisley.

The actress looked stunning and gorgeous in this dress; however, it almost made no difference to a dress from international brand Balmain introduced on the ramp of their Fall 2018 collection show.

Fashion critics couldn't keep calm towards the hard-to-miss resemblance between Purple Paisley's dress and Balmain's FW18 outfit collection. Is it a copy or did the fashion label just draw some inspiration from the French international brand? These triggered controversies on the internet.

Netizens commented on Janhvi's look like 'Copied,' 'Plagiarism' and 'ripped off.'

After Diet Sabya, a fashion watchdog called out Janhvi Kapoor’s dress, and many on Instagram targeted the actress’ overall look. Previously, he also pointed out the similarities between original Janhvi Kapoor's dresses to that of other fake ones.
