Australia Trip Turns To Be A Scary Experience For Neeti Mohan Amidst Coronavirus Outbreak

Neeti Mohan and her family had a trip to Australia with the expectation of fun. However, everything turned out to be scary for all of them amidst the coronavirus spread. She and her husband Nihar Pandya with two sisters Shakti and Mukti Mohan had to stop their trip and returned quickly to India prior to the announcement of a lockdown.

While self-quarantining at her farmhouse, Neeti recalled the details of her scary experience:

"It was just the onset (of the pandemic) but the numbers suddenly increased. When we heard that actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, who were also in Australia, had contracted coronavirus, it was alarming. They were shooting in the same country, and I got an anxiety attack thinking if someone of that league can get it, we might also get affected. Our parents also called us and asked us to return immediately."

Their trip was first scheduled to end on March 17 but due to the serious situation, they got off their arses to be back to India on March 12th. They transited in Singapore and Dubai, nonetheless, these places were also severely affected by the pandemic. The 40-year-old singer shared:

"When we reached the airport to board our flight, it was all deserted. When we landed, there were very few people and we got through the immigration process very quickly, with proper check-ups."

Neeti even dropped us emotionally when saying that she and the other people couldn't be aware of whether they got infected or not. She further added that her in-laws as doctors had some advice and guidelines for her to come over the harsh time.

The singer completed her self-isolation period, she gets relieved. Her family decides to remain to station in Pune till the nationwide coronavirus lockdown is removed.
