Neeti Mohan Approached To Come Onboard As Judge On “Indian Idol 11”

“Indian Idol” is one of the most popular singing reality shows on Indian television which has given us several talented singers like Neha Kakkar, Bhumi Trivedi and Monali Thakur to name a few.

Neeti Mohan has wowed us by lending her mellifluous voice to several hit Bollywood songs. Some of her most popular tracks include "Ishq Wala Love" - Student of the Year (2012), "Jiya Re" - Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), "Mohabbat Buri Bimari" - Bombay Velvet (2015) and "Naino Wale Ne" - Padmaavat (2018). Apart from singing, Neeti Mohan has also judged a couple of singing reality shows in the past.

The latest we hear that the melodious singer has been approached to grace the judging panel of popular singing reality shows Indian Idol which is scheduled to return with its 11th season later this year. If reports are to be believed, Neeti Mohan has already given her nod to the show.

As we all know that the judging panel of Indian Idol is graced by three judges. Along with Neeti Mohan, we hear that music composer Anu Malik is expected to return to the show after leaving it mid-way last season due to #MeToo allegations. It is not yet known who will return on Indian Idol 11 from last year’s other two judges, Vishal Dadlani, and Neha Kakkar. An official announcement is expected to arrive soon.

The last season of Indian Idol turned out to be quite successful for Sony Entertainment Television. It garnered huge TRPs for the channel and was loved by audiences not only in India but abroad also. Singer Salman Ali walked away with the winning trophy and prize money of ₹ 25 lakh. Ali is currently mentoring kids on Sony Entertainment’s kids singing reality show Superstar Singer.
