Was Ananya Panday Denied Access Into A Mumbai’s Swanky Nightclub?

Ananya Panday made her Hindi debut with the Punit Malhotra directorial Student Of The Year 2. Thanks to her beautiful appearance, she is gaining ever-increasing popularity with a strong fan base. What’s more, the Shreya character of SOTY2 is also attracting a lot of attention when sharing adorable pictures via her Instagram handle.

Recently, the 20-year-old actress was seen partying with friends Alaia F, Ahaan Pandey, Aryan Khan, and Suhana Khan again. Nonetheless, she was reportedly refused access into a nightclub. And, this piece of news has made the internet go wild.

As stated by a Mumbai Mirror's report, the reason for this entry refusal to the Lower Parel’s swanky club is her underage customer. In particular, 24 is the youngest age at which you’re allowed to enter a nightclub in Mumbai; however, she is only 20. With this denial, Ananya Panday could not argue anymore with the nightclub’s rules; then the actress had no choice but to come back home.

On the work front, Ananya will next feature in the movie B. R. Chopra's Pati Patni Aur Woh, which stars Ranjeeta Kaur, Vidya Sinha, and Sanjeev Kumar in the pivotal roles.

In a recent interview, she disclosed that her portrayal in B.R.Chopra directorial, which is a somewhat older character, is a different role from the Shreya character in SOTY2. "The film, in general, is not exactly a remake, but a premise is the same. It's a modernized version of this original film. I think it has a very relatable story, and people will enjoy watching it," Ananya Pandya added.
