Bollywood Shows Support To Janta Curfew With Claps And Bells, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Amitabh Bachan And Many Others

To limit the escalation of the coronavirus pandemic, PM Modi launched a 14-hour-long curfew and requested all Indian citizens to be a part of the initiative. At sharp 5 pm on Sunday, millions of Indian people came to their balcony and cheered for those who are fighting relentlessly against the pandemic.

Bollywood celebs such as Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachan, Malaika Arora, and Arjun Kapoor were also spotted shouting out and giving praise to pay tribute to those warriors. Take a glimpse at how Bollywood is practicing their Janta Curfew amid coronavirus outbreak.

The superstar couple was spotted coming to their balcony in South Mumbai home to praise all frontliners in the battle against Covid-19. They shared a live video of themselves on Instagram with Vande Mataram playing at the background. While Deepika was seen clapping and ringing a bell, Ranveer Singh made it in his way with a drum. The Bachan family

Meanwhile, the Bachan family came together at the terrace to give a salute to those who’re working hard against the health crisis. Abhishek Bachchan took to Instagram a couple of videos which featured the whole family including Amitabh, Aaradhya, Aishwarya Bachan and even her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda. All of them opted white outfits to show respect while bells were ringing along the streets. 

Big B later came on his Twitter handle to express how overwhelming he was seeing the whole nation’s solidarity.

It seems like Malaika is spending her quarantine with boyfriend Arjun Kapoor as the pair was clicked outside Arjun's house giving salutes to medical and other staff in the epic battle. Earlier, Malaika also promoted self-quarantine on her social media handle.
