The couple can be seen hugging intimately and smiling in the candid picture. While Anushka Sharma is wearing a striped white shirt and black pants, her husband Virat is seen in an orange striped shirt and blue denims.

Anushka Sharma is currently in Australia cheering on her husband Virat Kohli as he and his team take on a series of test matches hosted by the Australian PM. India has an unbeatable 2-1 lead against the Aussies in the series.

The couple rang in the New Year together in Sydney. Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli posted a tweet wishing everyone on the new year. His tweet read.

Earlier in the day, the skipper had posted a photo on his Instagram account from the flight and wrote, “Off to Sydney. Looking forward to the new years eve with my one and only @anushkasharma.”

Notably, Anushka Sharma was last seen starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in 'Zero'. The film saw her enacting the role of a scientist suffering from cerebral palsy. While the movie did not fare well, her acting got favourable reviews.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knots at a destination wedding in Italy after which the duo threw reception parties in Mumbai and Delhi where a number of eminent personalities from various fraternities graced their presence.
