From Aishwarya Rai to Kareena Kapoor, these divas who might reach the height of success are the nation’s heartthrobs and have fans all around the world. They have the world falling at their feet and can get anything they want with just the bat of an eyelid. But do you know many of them don’t have a single degree to their name?

Miss World 2000 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might have ruled the world, but, had to quit her studies midway. Initially, Aishwarya wanted to pursue a career in medicine. Later, she dropped the idea and decided to study architecture and got enrolled at Rachana Sansad Academy of Architecture. The actor, however, she quit studies to get into modeling. She made her acting debut with the Tamil flick Iruvar, in 1997.

Kareena Kapoor

One of the most run-after actresses in the Bollywood industry, Kareena had her eyes on Bollywood since she was just a kid. Kareena entered the film industry in 2000 with Refugee when she was 20 years old. Before becoming an actress, she attended Mithibai College for two years to study commerce, and then a Summer course in microcomputers at Harvard Summer School. With time, she became interested in Law and even attended college, but after the first year, Kareena gave up on Law and decided to start her so desired acting career.

Sonam Kapoor

A popular film actress and a fashionista, Sonam Kapoor once revealed she has one regret in her life - that she didn’t complete her graduation and hoped to get her degree one day.  Sonam, who debuted in Bollywood with Saawariya, feels that she should have waited for four more years before entering showbiz. “I stopped studying at the 12th. Then I came and become an actress. I could have waited for four years,” she said.

Deepika Padukone
