Game of Thrones Season 8: Episode 2 Trailer Reveals Interesting Insights For The Show

The first episode of Game of Thrones season 8 is a kind of a call-back to the first episode that starts it all. Jaime Lannister, his sister Cersei Lannister and Bran Stark crossed path in the first season in quite a predicament of a situation.

The first episode of Game of Thrones ended with Bran catching Jaime and Cersei together in bed in a tower. Jaime, in an attempt to cover up this incestuous act, push the young boy off a window. Fortunately, Bran survived the fall, at the cost of his legs. Since then, the trio has yet to meet, until now.

Now, seven seasons later, there's a reversal of roles. This time, Bran has the upper hand, while Jaime looks surprised and vulnerable. This moment tickled our interest while simultaneously gave us a sense of nostalgia.

We can have a better look at what's coming next through the new trailer. From what can be seen, Jaime will be on trial, with the Starks and Daenerys Targaryen (or Dany for short) as his jurors. Their topic: Cersei's traitorous plan as revealed in season 7.

Dany does not look happy to see the man who killed her father. Then, the trailer cuts to a moment of Dany and Sansa Stark having a heated exchange of words and glances.

On the other hand, Jon Snow appears to be doing preparations for a battle with the Night King and his Army of the Dead. In the meantime, Arya Stark is armed and ready with her bow.

Season 8 will be the concluding chapter to Game of Thrones. It will go through the decisive Battle of Winterfell. Everything in the last seasons has to lead up to this moment, and every fan is eager for the reveal of the King or Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. The first episode has ended with Jon Snow discovering his Targaryen heritage. This means he does what Dany can with dragons.
