Nawazuddin Siddiqui Explains Why Audience Did Not Connect With "Sacred Games 2"

Recently, Saif Ali Khan had also spoken about "Sacred Games 2" which had let down the audience.

Much awaited Sacred Games 2 released in August on Netflix but failed to impress its audience completely. Mixed response to the second part of Sacred Games was eagerly awaited but it failed to stay to its true essence.

The web series which had a powerful cast this season included Pankaj Tripathi, Surveen Chawla, Ranvir Shorey, Amruta Subhash, Kalki Koechlin, Elnaaz Norouzi and Samir Kochhar along with Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, the gripping crime thriller unravels the mystery and answers the questions that were raised during Sacred Games season 1.

During an interview with a leading news portal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke in detail why Sacred Games 2 failed to impress the audience, he said:

Saif Ali Khan had also called the second season disappointing and had said, “The first season was outstanding. It was like some of the best things we ever had. It’s got nominated for an Emmy. It’s a proper show.”

On the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently busy in the promotions of his upcoming film Motichoor Chaknachoor where he will be seen opposite Athiya Shetty.

He will also be seen in Roam Rome Mein which has received huge applause at its Indian premiere at the 21st edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star.
