Mouni Roy Delivers Scintillating Kathak Performance On Premiere Episode Of “Nach Baliye 9”

Mouni Roy, who used to be one of the highest paid actresses on Indian television before she decided to make a crossover to Bollywood, is returning to the idiot box. Wait! She is not coming back to the small screen forever.

The beautiful actress, who is known for her successful shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Naagin, will appear on the premiere episode of Star Plus’ much-awaited celebrity dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9, which is being produced by Salman Khan.

The reality show has become the talk of the town ever since news broke out that superstar Salman Khan has come onboard to produce its latest season. The new concept of the show is another feature that is attracting a huge number of eyeballs.

For the uninitiated, Nach Baliye 9 is going to feature some ex-couples who will join forces with each other to win the coveted trophy and, of course, the prize money.

Ahead of the launch of the show, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote it to the hilt. According to reports, the premiere episode of Nach Baliye 9 has already been shot where Mouni Roy performed Kathak on the popular song Ghar More Pardesiya from the film, Kalank (2019).

A source informs that the actress broke her ghungroos while taking 50 rotations during the performance.

On the work front, Mouni Roy will next be seen in Maddock Films’ upcoming movie, Made In China, alongside Rajkummar Rao. She also plays the lead antagonist in Dharma Productions’ much-awaited fantasy film, Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.
