"Friends" Revival Will Never Happen, Says The Show’s Co-Creator Marta Kauffman

Friends' Co-Creator Marta Kauffman has just confirmed that the show is over and there’s no chance of going back and here are some reasons.

It’s has been almost 15 years since the iconic series Friends finale aired, and its longtime fans have always hoped that their favourite shows will return in the form of a revival run, a reboot or just a reunion episode. However, it’s time to give hope because the co-creator and former executive producer Marta Kauffman has just confirmed that the show is over and there’s no chance of going back.
During a recent interview with the Rolling Stone, Marta Kauffman revealed that there are some reasons why Friends revival will never happen.
When asked if she felt something has been lost in how we watch TV today, Marta said,
She clarified that in the past, people gathered in one room and watch these shows together but now they just lay in the bed and watched on their computers.
Marta Kauffman also remembered two times when she knew that the show was going to be something special. One is when someone in a Friends jacket stopped to ask her about the show, and two is when all the cast came for their first rehearsal.
Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, once affirmed that a Friends reunion would never work.
However, she also understands why people love the show so much. She said,
Other Friends stars have repeatedly dismissed the possibility of a revival.
