While the coronavirus crisis is stirring up the whole world, a website coronavirusmedicalkit.com recently took the internet by storm claiming to give away free coronavirus vaccine. However, the vaccine kits which are said to be provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) was none other than an online scam, claimed the Department of Justice. By asking people to submit their payment for the shipping fee that costs $4.95, the website operators can steal user's personal information and their money.
Free coronavirus vaccine is an online scam
The Department of Justice also added that the federal court against the online scam was raised last Sunday and the website has been blocked permanently on Monday. It can be assumed that there is no legitimate corona vaccine at the moment.
Before being taken down, the fraudulent website which appeared to be a legitimate one showed the image of Dr. Anthony Fauci (the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of US). They introduced the vaccine kits as a compound of chemical machinery and pellets which should be mixed together.
Regarding the online fraud, WHO has taken to its official website a notice warning people that the coronavirus vaccine and antiviral medicine don’t exist. Only those who are infected should receive health care and those with serious symptoms should admit hospital for intensive treatment.
