Tamannaah Wraps The First Schedule Of Her Upcoming Telugu Sports Drama

Tamannaah, who was most recently seen in Tamil action entertainer Action (2019) opposite Vishal, has wrapped up the first shooting schedule of her next Telugu movie. The untitled film is a sport drama, directed by well-known filmmaker Sampath Nandi. Besides Tamannaah, the movie also stars actor Gopichand in the lead role. Gopichand was last seen in the much-publicized film Chanakya (2019) which failed to touch the right chord with critics and audiences alike.

The yet to be titled project hit the shooting floor a couple of days ago. The team finished the first schedule of the film recently. Director Sampath Nandi took to social media to make the announcement and also shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the set. The director wrote that the 15-days long first schedule of the film has been wrapped up. He also mentioned that he shot some amazing stuff with his coach and Kabaddi team!

Tamannaah and Gopichand both actors have previously worked with Sampath Nandi on different projects. Since their previous films with the director were hits, the audience is expecting the same magic from the trio. Gopichand previously worked with the director on their 2017 hit Goutham Nanda, while Tamannaah worked with him on Bengal Tiger in 2015. According to reports, the actress will be seen portraying the character of a kabaddi coach in the upcoming movie. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.

Talking about her other upcoming projects, the actress is currently shooting for Bollywood film Bole Chudiyan with National Film Award-winning actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Her much-delayed film That Is Mahalakshmi, an official remake of cult Hindi film Queen (2014), is also waiting for its theatrical release. Tamannaah is also set to make her digital debut with a crime thriller web series called The November’s Story. Directed by Ram Subramaniam and produced by Ananda Vikatan, the series will premiere on Hotstar.
