It looks like horror-comedies have caught the fancy of actress Tamannaah. After impressing audiences with her rib-tickling performances in “Devi” (2016) and “Devi 2” (2019), the gorgeous actress has now started shooting for yet another horror-comedy.

Tamannaah is in love with horror-comedies, it seems. After delivering whistle-blowing performances in Tamil musical gothic comedies Devi and Devi 2, Tamannaah has just commenced work on yet another horror comedy.

Yes, the Baahubali (2015) actress plays the female lead in an upcoming Tamil horror-comedy, which is being helmed by well-known director Rohin Venkatesan.

Reportedly, the untitled film is an official remake of hit Telugu horror-comedy, Anando Brahma (2017), which starred Taapsee Pannu, Srinivas Reddy and Vennela Kishore in lead roles.

The movie, which hit the marquee on 10th August 2017, emerged as a box-office hit and was later dubbed in Hindi as Kanchana 3.

Even as Tamannaah gears up for the theatrical release of her forthcoming mystery thriller, Khamoshi, directed by Chakri Toleti and co-starring her Devi franchise co-star Prabhudeva as an antagonist, on 14th June, the actress has begun work on her next horror-comedy.

She will have no actor to romance in the movie as it is an out-and-out female-centric affair.

The talented actress recently shared a selfie from the sets of her new movie and let the world know what she is doing next. Besides Tamannaah, the remake of Anando Brahma also features immensely talented Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan and Bagavathi Perumal in important roles.

Talking about other upcoming projects of the actress, she will soon be seen in Khamoshi, as mentioned above. She will next be seen in the Telugu remake of the Kangana Ranaut starrer Bollywood hit Queen (2014), titled That Is Mahalakshmi and historical war drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

The actress has some more projects in her pocket, but they are yet to be announced officially. She may announce them soon.
