Sara Ali Khan Talks About Her Mother's Reaction To Her Performance In Kedarnath

“Mom had heard the narration and she had also seen some rushes. However, she still cried in the climax, so that was a big one for me”, Sara revealed her mother’s reaction to her first performance.

Sara Ali Khan has made a promising debut opposite actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the film “Kedarnath” this December and received many positive reviews from the critics and the audience for playing the role of Mukku, the lively, pleasant and rebellious girl. In a recent interview, she revealed her mother Amrita’s reaction to her performance in the film.

Earlier, her father Saif had also showered her with praises in one interview with Pinkvilla. Speaking to Pinkvilla about her first acting, the “Sacred Game” actor expressed that he was not surprised by his daughter performance since he always knew that Sara had it in her. Set in the background of the tragic Uttarakhand floods, Kedarnath tells the love story between a wealthy Indian girl and a humble Muslim boy. The movie received mixed reviews for its opening but earned impressive money at the domestic box office. Kedarnath has collected ₹32 crore till Monday. According to Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, the movie had passed this important Monday test.

Both Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara are star kids who have made the screen debut in Bollywood in 2018. Becoming an actress has always been Sara’s dream and she has won the audience’s heart in the first role.

Kedarnath Trailer Finally Out Sara Ali Khan Debut

On the professional front, Sara will be next seen in Simmba, which is slated to release on 28th December, 2018. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is a remake of Telegu movie Temper. The movie stars Sara Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood, and Ajay Devgn.
