The makers have confirmed that Oh Baby will be having its date with cinemas on 5th July.

For the uninitiated, Oh Baby is an official remake of South Korean film Miss Granny (2014), which turned out to be a massive crowd-puller at the box-office. It revolves around a 70-year-old grandmother who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self.

Director BV Nandini Reddy is directing the Telugu remake for producer Suresh Babu.

The latest buzz surrounding the film is that producer Suresh Babu is looking at the possibility of remaking it in Hindi. We also hear that Shraddha Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor have already shown their interest in the project.

If Suresh Babu is indeed serious about remaking Oh Baby in Hindi, it will mark his entry into Bollywood after a long time.

In Oh Baby, Samantha plays an interesting role. If all goes well, it might even turn out to be a career-defining role for the actress. Besides her, the movie also features veteran actress Lakshmi, Naga Shaurya and Rao Ramesh in pivotal parts.

Apart from Oh Baby, Samantha will also be seen in such films as Manmadhudu 2 and the official remake of Tamil film 96.
