Samantha Bows Out Of Vijay Sethupathi's “Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal”

Samantha was most recently seen in Jaanu. Released with much fanfare, the C. Prem Kumar directorial failed to live up to the expectations of the audience and turned out to be a box-office dud. Samantha has recently joined forces with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara for the upcoming Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal.

According to reports, the pre-production work for the film was going on in full swing. Director Vignesh Shivan was set to commence the first shooting scheduled of the film from April 2020. However, if the latest reports are to be believed, Samantha has put down her papers and quit the project for reasons best known to her.

Though there is no update on what led the actress to bow out of the high-profile project at the last moment, some media outlets report that the actress is on the family way and is expecting her first baby and hence, she has decided to quit the film.

It is also being said that the actress has withdrawn from all the films that she had signed. She will stay away from the limelight for the next two years. However, diehard fans of Samantha are not at sad that they will not get to see their favourite actress on the screen for at least two years. They are, in fact, extremely for their favourite actress. Samantha and her husband Naga Chaitanya have not yet confirmed the pregnancy news. An official announcement is highly awaited.

According to reports, Samantha was set to play an important role in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal. The story of the film reportedly revolves around Vijay Sethupathi's relationships with Samantha and Nayanthara. After the exit of Samantha, director Vignesh Shivan is reportedly planning to rope in Trisha as her replacement. It will be interesting to see if Trisha manages to do another film amidst her chock-o-block schedule.
