Aquaman premiered in London's Leicester Square and gained numerous positive reviews from the public and critics. It's also been touted as "an absolute blast," "breathtakingly beautiful", and “an undersea Star Wars”.

It also features many big names in Hollywood industry like Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman and Patrick Wilson in essential roles. Many critics took to social media to voice their initial reactions about the film. Surprisingly, they’re almost all highly positive and appreciated.

Arthur Curry is a kid of an Atlantis queen and a human father. He lived a peaceful life with his family when he was young. With the help of Vulko, he later uncovered his powers and underwater instincts. And he discovered his mission: the protector of the deep. Momoa told Reuters to play the role of Arthur is a challenging task which requires strictly physical shape.
Amber Heard (played as Princess Mera), said at first she was not keen on shooting for a superhero film. She is kind of something pretty allergic to this idea and has very limited experience with that world. Therefore she didn’t see Aquaman project appeal her. But she added, she was interested in nuanced roles that portray women in more accurate and more organic ways.
