Deepika Padukone Is Compared To A Cabbage When Donning An Unusual Green Gown

It was a treat for Deepika Padukone’s fans when seeing their favorite celeb turning heads at an award function. While her haute couture at Grazia Millennial Awards 2019 taking place on Wednesday night sets fans’ heartbeats accelerating, the diva also gets trolled for this outfit.

Attending the event, the Chhapaak actress donned Ashi Studio’s off-shoulder parrot-green creation, accessorized with similar colored diamond earrings. Sharing the photo on Instagram, Deepika hilariously captioned,  “A tad bit too late for world environment day! @ashistudio.”

Despite looking every bit gorgeous with the makeup on point, the star still failed to woo her fans with her choice of fashion. Many dissed this outfit as it made them associate to a cabbage.

A fan account named @tras100 commented, “living breathing fashion disaster. She looks like a big cabbage comes to life.”

Not just this, a lot of negative comments poking fun at her extraordinary outfit were flooded on social media. Another even said, “Pehele cabbage phir lettuce?”

An Instagram user trolled her by saying, “Fashion disaster for a reason. Chipeeka auntie.”

Someone also said that now they understand why she got married to Ranveer Singh who is always known for controversial taste of fashion. @iam_ramankaur stated, “I love Deepika, but this outfit no way.”

However, a lot of fans of Deepika still support her. A fan called @sakshippsss__ commented, “I loved the outfit. If someone wears something green, he/she doesn’t turn into cabbage or garbage bad, you haters.”

On the work front, her kitty includes the biopic Chhapaak and '83. Deepika recently confirmed that she is going to join her husband Ranveer Singh in the film ’83 where she will be slipping into shoes of the wife of Kapil Dev.
