Actor Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will share screen space for the first time in the Shelly Chopra Dhar: Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. She revealed that they had been offered many films in the past, but this project was felicitous for them to co-star.
Speaking at a promotion event on Monday, she said:
She shared that she would never accept to act for a film with her father just for the sake of it.
According to some sources, the film is set in the backdrop of Punjab and revolves around a love story filled with 'syaapa'. Sonam Kapoor's father will be featuring in a man with a new love interest. It also relates to the matter of homosexuality.
Refusing to go into details on the plot, Sonam just gave some major points,
Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar in association with Fox Star Studios, the film is slated to hit the theatres on February 1.
