Shahid Kapoor OFFICIALLY Opens Up On Kabir Singh's Criticism

The film has come under fire for being misogynistic and violent. Amidst all such hullabaloo, Shahid recently opened up on the criticism about his film in an interview with Bollywood Hungama.

After raising the wrath of critics for the misogyny, Kabir Singh continues to face another trouble. The report has it that a Mumbai-based doctor has filed a complaint against the film’s makers for showcasing the doctors in a poor-condition light.

In the movie, Shahid essays the role of a doctor who is addicted to alcohol and drugs after the breakup performs surgery while intoxicated. The actor also claimed that the movie portraits the whole profession under a bad light, so he demanded to stop the film’s screening.

The doctor reportedly passed on the complaint to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, the central Health Minister, the Censor Board of Film Certification, and State Health Ministry.

The fact is that Kabir Singh is still cooking up a real storm at the ticket windows. Despite mixed reviews, the film has crossed Rs 100 crore on the day 5 of its theatrical run. After making a flying start with the collection of Rs 70 crores in the opening weekend, Kabir Singh has finally marked its name in the Rs 100-crore club.
