Sara Ali Khan reveals Amrita Singh, her mother couldn't identify her after she went through her body transformation overseas. While studying at a university in America, Sara reached up to 96 kgs. Hence, she made up her mind to lose her weight prior to participating in the movie industry.

Sara is the actress who had her first appearance in Kedarnath. And, she is Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter. According to SpotboyE, Sara Ali Khan disclosed she recollects the moment she cried to her mother about how much she wanted to become the actor. This was also when Amrita Singh gave her the advice to lose some weight. Sara Ali Khan also unveiled when working out overseas during the period of four months, she even avoided FaceTiming her.

Sara shared she spent one year and half of the year losing the weight which she put on after she enrolled in the university. And, all the times, she was the chubby girl. However, post her arrival at the States during her first 2 years, she gained plenty of weight. Until last year, Sara burned that amount of kilos there.

The actress, who will appear in Simmba soon, opposite the actor Ranveer Singh, assumed America is the continent of extremes. Hence she burned all the amount of weight which she had put on there. Moreover, thanks to keeping a balanced life and working out, she could lose lots more.

Sara received good reviews for the great performance in movie Kedarnath. However, the movie got mixed reviews. In the film review, The Hindustan Times gave it ⅖ stars and named it the “wet weepie”. Because of bearing a resemblance to the other, Sara Ali Khan was in a comparison with her mom. Whereas, Kedarnath was also compared to renowned film, Titanic. Additionally, during the opening weekend,  Kedarnath has reached Rs 27 crore.
