After Janhvi Kapoor, sister Shanaya Kapoor All Set To Make Bollywood Debut, But Not Actress

Janhvi Kapoor sister Shanaya Kapoor is all set to debut in Bollywood industry. Shanaya is the daughter between designer Maheep Kapoor and actor Sanjay Kapoor. But unlike her cousin Janhvi, Shanaya will dip toes in another field not acting career. Via Instagram, her parents announced that Shanaya will work as an assistant director and is currently in Lucknow for two weeks.

The proud parents chose to keep secret of details of her upcoming film but wished their daughter luck. "All the best Shanaya #newbeginnings #newjourney," her father Sanjay captioned on Instagram. “My baby’s gone to Lucknow for 2 weeks #MissYouAlready #AssistantDirectorsLife #LoveYou @shanayakapoor02 #ProudMama,” wrote mother, Maheep. 

Many of Shanaya's family members have been actors including her uncle Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and debutante Janhvi Kapoor.

Talking about her debut, Sanjay Kapoor once said, "Honestly, I really don't know when that will happen. She has just finished her 12th standard, and she's working towards it. But she hasn't signed anything till now; she's too young. Hopefully, soon enough." Ahead of making debut in Bollywood industry, Shanaya Kapoor is already a celebrity. The beautiful teenager is a favourite of the paparazzi and has several fan clubs on social media. Shanaya was always interested in following her father Sanjay Kapoor's footsteps and confirmed she was "working towards" her Bollywood debut.

Both Arjun and Sonam Kapoor also commenced assisting well-known directors. While Arjun helped Nikhil Advani on Kal Ho Naa Ho, Sonam supported Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Black.
