Saif Ali Khan Rejected Offer To Co-star With Daughter Sara Ali Khan In "Love Aaj Kal 2"?

Reports were coming in of Saif Ali Khan being a part of Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Love Aaj Kal sequel.

A while back, reports speculated that Saif Ali Khan would be a part of the sequel to Love Aaj Kal which also stars his daughter Sara Ali Khan and heartthrob actor Kartik Aaryan. It was believed that Saif would be essaying the role of Kartik's father in the film.

However, all these reports are absolutely not true. Saif Ali Khan has confirmed that he won't be starring in Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan's next film.

Talking about the film, Saif Ali Khan expressed his excitement of seeing his doting daughter collaborate with Imtiaz for the film:

On being quizzed about starring in the film, Saif replied,

Love Aaj Kal released in 2009, and it featured Deepika Padukone opposite Saif. The sequel stars Randeep Hooda, and it will be primarily shot in New Delhi and Punjab.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan currently has four films lined up; these include Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Pawan Kriplani's horror Bhooth Police, Navdeep Singh's revenge drama Hunter and Jawaani Jaaneman helmed by Nitin Kakkar.
