Saif Ali Khan And Alaia Furniturewalla Commence “Jawaani Jaaneman” Shoot

Saif Ali Khan and debutante Alaia Furniturewalla have started shooting for their upcoming film, Jawaani Jaaneman, which was officially announced a couple of months ago. The first schedule of the much-awaited film will take place in London.

Both the actors, who play a father-daughter duo in the movie, were spotted enjoying India's match against Pakistan at the ICC World Cup 2019 on Sunday in London.

Debutante Alaia Furniturewalla, who is the daughter of model-actress Pooja Bedi, will be making her acting debut with Jawaani Jaaneman. Sharing an image of Saif and Alaia from the stadium where India vs. Pakistan match took place yesterday, Pooja Bedi wrote,

Jawaani Jaaneman is being directed by well-known filmmaker Nitin Kakkar who recently helmed the Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl starrer Notebook (2019). The film is a romantic comedy-drama. Seasoned Bollywood actress Tabu, who has received overwhelming responses for his performance in Luv Ranjan’s De De Pyaar De (2019), is also playing an important role in Jawaani Jaaneman.

Bankrolled by Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment in association with Saif Ali Khan's Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights Films, Jawaani Jaaneman is set to buzz into theatres on November 29, 2019.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will shortly be seen in producer Aanand L Rai’s Laal Kaptaan, set to release on 6^th September. The actor has teamed up with superstar Ajay Devgn for war period drama, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior where the former plays the lead antagonist. Saif also headlined an upcoming horror-comedy called Bhoot Police, co-starring Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
