"Saaho" Star Prabhas On Facing Bias In Bollywood: It Has Always Been There In Every Region

The epitome of love and strength, who had the audience smitten by his marvellous performance as Baahubali in the Baahubali series is Telugu superstar Prabhas. The actor who has made a mark in the film industry, has millions of fans, if nothing less, worshipping him!

Prabhas joins the list of veteran actors such as Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan and is one of the most sought after actors in the industry. He recently marked his Hindi film debut in the multi-lingual, high-voltage action and spy thriller, Saaho, starring Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor.

During an interview, the actor spoke about his experience in Bollywood and the prejudice that he faced in the industry.

Bollywood is known for prejudicing against films beyond Hindi cinema. Talking about it, Prabhas said it is common sense.

Rajamouli's dream project didn't just manage to keep sleepless nights to all its fans but the film industry is in awe of the film and its every frame that is no less than a visual masterpiece. In fact, before S.S. Rajamouli's cinematic marvel, nobody could have even imagined such an ambitious piece of art in India.

Prabhas further added that Baahubali broke stereotypes in the entertainment world, and many more such films are going to be made in the future.

The 39-year-old actor does very few films. While his last film Baahubali took five years to make, he shot his latest over a period of two years. But it seems he doesn't want to change though he also wants to do several films at least one year.

The huge budgeted-film Saaho was the most-awaited for fans and even the industry as it marked the return of Prabhas to the big screen more than two years after the global phenomenon. The expectation was sky high from the film but it all turned out to be an anti-climax for the fans of Prabhas. 

Baahubali actor Prabhas is likely to get hitched in 2019. The news about his marriage has been doing rounds for quite some time now. Prabhas wanted to tie the knot with a girl after Baahubali 2, but he delayed it for Saaho.
