Rohit Shetty became a force to reckon with after the humongous success of “Golmaal”. After delivering four hugely popular movies under the series, the filmmaker is now planning to roll the fifth instalment soon.

Rohit Shetty is one of the most successful filmmakers that we have today in Bollywood. He began his directorial career with the 2003 film Zameen, which failed to leave any mark at the box-office. In 2006, he released his next directorial Golmaal: Fun Unlimited and the film turned out to be a huge money spinner at the cash counter.

The humongous success of Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, starring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi, changed the course of Shetty’s career. Over the years, he has directed close to a dozen movies with the majority of them emerging as clean hits at the box-office.

However, it is the Golmaal franchise which established Rohit Shetty as a force to reckon with in the Hindi film industry. Shetty has delivered four successful films under the blockbuster franchise and, if reports are to be believed, the fifth instalment might be announced soon. On Sunday, Golmaal clocked 13 years of its release. On the occasion, Rohit Shetty revealed that he had never thought that Golmaal would become such a huge brand.
