Randeep Hooda Commences “Rat On A Highway” Shoot

Randeep Hooda, who was last seen in the Ahmed Khan directorial Baaghi 2 (2018), has bagged an exciting project. The handsome star has just started shooting for his next film titled Rat on a Highway. Touted to be an edge-of-the-thriller, the movie began its first schedule in Scotland on Sunday.

The film is being directed by debutant Vivek Chouhan, who has previously assisted ace filmmaker Shoojit Sircar.

Chouhan has been more into the ad world, but now he is making his directorial debut with this story that he always wanted to tell. Rat on a Highway is produced by Mohaan Nadaar of The Production Headquarters Ltd – UK.

Apart from Rat on a Highway, Randeep Hooda has several other interesting projects on his platter right now. He has recently wrapped up Aaj Kal. The film reunites him with Highway (2014) director Imtiaz Ali. Set to release on 14^th February, 2020, Aaj Kal stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.

The actor is also gearing up for an untitled thriller which is being made under the banner of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions. Featuring Mukkabaaz (2018) actress Zoya Hussain as the female lead, the film mounts the shooting floors in the month of October, after Hooda wraps up Rat On A Highway.

Besides Randeep Hooda, the entire cast and crew of Rat On A Highway are from the United Kingdom. It is a multilingual film being shot in English and Hindi. The team is looking at wrapping up Hooda’s entire shooting portion in 24 days.
