Housefull 4: Rana Daggubati to Rope In Nana Patekar in Akshay Kumar's Film?

Nana Patekar, who had to leave Housefull 4 because of allegations of sexual assault and abuse. The producers have zeroed in on Rana Daggubati and it looks like he might replace Nana Patekar in the movie.

After Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on a film set in 2008, the MeToo movement came like a storm in Bollywood and led to a row over sexual harassment. Many popular names from several different industries have been shamed and named.

This movement has created a stir in the film industry with names such as Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Nana Patekar, Sajid Khan, and Mukesh Chabbra and others for alleged sexual harassment of actor women.

The veteran Bollywood performer had no choice but to quit the 'Housefull 4' under the pressure of the MeToo controversy.

A Sudden Choice From The Filmmaker

Reportedly, the makers of the film decided to cast Rana for the comedy entertainer. This statement comes a few days after Sajid Khan’s stepping down as a director of the film Housefull 4. Meanwhile, Farhad Samji, who helmed the third part of the franchise, replaced Sajid Khan as the film director.

A source quoted that casting Nana came as an expected choice. One reason providing by the filmmakers is the pronunciation of Rana sounds quite a similar to Nana. The directors of the film had offered the South actor whether he was interested in working the film or not. While Rana seems to assent with the offer, the official announcement will come later.

Rana will join the star cast of Housefull 4 in the coming week. There is a rumor doing the rounds that Rana will lend his presence in the cast coming week.

Rana Daggubati is a famous actor in the South and after portraying the role of Bhallaldeva in the Baahubali series, his reputation is much more wide-spread not only in India but all over the world.
