Rana Daggubati, the hot and handsome actor who became an international phenomenon after delivering a powerful performance in Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017), is in an extremely content space now.
The actor recently got engaged to Miheeka Bajaj, a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur. Before the exchange of rings, the actor took to social media and revealed that he had proposed to her some time ago and she said yes to his proposal.
Not many people knew about Rana Daggubati and Miheeka being in a relationship until the actor himself made the announcement on social media. Now, he has revealed all about his proposal and their families’ reactions to the great news.
Talking about his wife to be, Rana Daggubati says that Miheeka has been brought up in Hyderabad and lives right next to them in Jubilee Hills. She can speak Telugu, though not fluently. Also, their worlds are the same. The fun fact is that she is friends with his family, and he knows her circle of friends in Mumbai.
Recalling the time when he met her to propose, the actor says that she knew where he was getting at when he called her. And then she met her in person, and that was it. He says he said a bunch of things together. For him, it was serious. It was commitment. When he met her, that is the time he felt he was ready to do it. It was that simple, for real.
When asked if he never consciously thought about marrying or not marrying someone from the film industry, Rana Daggubati says that he never thought about it. He met Miheeka, liked her and that was it. He found love.
The couple is planning to get hitched towards the end of the year. But if the Coronavirus pandemic is under control and the normalcy is restored, wedding bells may ring before that also.
