Mumbai Police plays an important role in maintaining a safe and sound environment for growth and development of the country. Recently, the police force has become well-known because of not only their sacrifice but also the friendly way they solve the problem with social media.
Recently, the famous Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor shared a clip in which Dulquer Salmaan was using a mobile phone while he was driving. Certainly, the Mumbai Police called him out immediately, but in a "weirdo" way.
Dulquer Salmaan, an X-factor of Malayalam Cinema, is preparing for his upcoming project, Zoya Factor - co-starred Sonam. On her Instagram stories, the Neerja's lead role shared a clip of the co-actor driving a car without touching the steering wheel. He was busy holding a phone at the time.
Reacting to Dulquer's action, Sonam said "weirdo". Right after posting the video, Sonam and Dulquer received special advice from the Mumbai Police through Twitter.
"We agree with you @sonamakapoor! Quite a 'weirdo' to try such stunts while driving and putting the lives of fellow drivers at risk too! We don't quite approve of these even in 'reel' life. #NotDone," the police force wrote.
Immediately, Sonam denied all the interpretation of Mumbai police. She explained that the two actors are sitting in a car put on a truck. Certainly, Dulquer was not the controller of that car.
"We weren't driving we were rigged on a truck.. but I'm glad you guys are concerned.. I hope and I know you show the same interest in regular folk as well! Thanks for taking care!", Sonam explained.
Also, Dulquer Salmaan confirmed he's not that kind of "weirdo".
Everything didn't stop when Mumbai Police continued to reply Sonam: "For us, No Mumbaikar is ‘regular’ they are all ‘special’! And we are equally concerned about them all. Glad to know your safety wasn’t ‘rigged’. @sonamakapoor"
The Mumbai Police always remains their cool reaction in spite of having misunderstood the two actors.
