Malaika Arora Tests Positive For COVID-19, She Met Pregnant Kareena Kapoor Just 10 Days Ago, Fans Express Their Worry

Hours after Arjun Kapoor's breaking announcement about his health situation, girlfriend Malaika Arora too has tested positive for COVID-19. The news was confirmed by her younger sister, Amrita Arora.

Coronavirus doesn’t spare anyone, no matter who you are if you don’t practice social distancing strictly, you are likely to become the next patient. Many B-town stars have tested positive for COVID-19 respectively for the past few months. Adding to the list, actor Arjun Kapoor announced that he has been diagnosed with the virus on his social media. And now, just hours after his breaking announcement, girlfriend Malaika Arora too has tested positive. The news was confirmed by her younger sister, Amrita Arora.

Confirming the same in an interview with TOI recently, the diva said,

"Yes, I have tested positive. I am asymptomatic and have self-quarantined at home. I will bounce back healthier and stronger."

It was only a few days back, reports had it that around 7 to 8 members of the dance reality show judged by Malaika also tested positive for this novel virus. The shooting of the show has been instantly paused in order to prevent the spread of the infection. It’s still not sure whether the diva got infected on the sets or from her boyfriend Arjun Kapoor.

However, just around 10 days ago, Malaika Arora could be seen having a reunion with her girl squad and Kareena Kapoor was also present at the gathering. Needless to say, fans are expressing their worry for the health of both ladies, especially Bebo who recently announced her pregnancy.

Earlier, the Internet was also broken with the news that three generations of the Bachchans also became the victims of COVID-19, including actors Amitabh Bachchan, his son, and daughter-in-law Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his granddaughter Aaradhya. The whole family was then admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai.
