Kedarnath Banned In 7 Districts Of Uttarakhand, Expecting The Peace Disruption

On Thursday, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital’s district magistrates banned the movie Kedarnath, expecting the order and law disruption. But, the state government made up their mind not to affirm the official prohibition on the film.
The DMs decided to say the protestors probably disrupted peace in case the film was shown in cinemas. The High Court of Uttarakhand declined to intervene in the issue, discarding a PIL looking for the ban on this movie.
In the meantime, after the committee submitted a report, state government hosted a meeting that Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat chaired it. Satpal Maharaj who is the Tourism minister is heading the committee. Moreover, post the examination of the rejections of the movie, the committee made a decision not to proclaim the official ban on the film.
Nevertheless, it left the district magistrates’ decision on whether or not to permit the movie screening hinging on the circumstance of their corresponding areas.
In this meeting, there was the attendance of Dilip Jawalkar the Information Secretary, ADG Ashok Kumar, DGP Anil Raturi, ADG B Vinay Kumar, and Ashish Joshi the Additional Secretary.
Kedarnath set against 2013 floods backdrop which demonstrates the touching love story between the Hindu girl and the Muslim porter on their pilgrimage to the land of Kedarnath. The film release is on Friday.
Situations Of The Banning On Kedarnath
Sara Ali Khan the debutante and Sushant Singh Rajput play the leading roles in the film. Those who looked for a prohibition on this movie laid blame on it for hurting the sentiments of Hindu. Moreover, they also claimed that the film was promoting the love jihad.
Additionally, Darshan Bharti was the one alleging that Kedarnath has hurt the Hindu community’s sentiments. On Thursday, the High Court decided to dismiss this petitioner plea.
