Kalank Actor Varun Dhawan On Replacing Shah Rukh Khan. Here Is His Reaction!

When asked about replacing superstar SRK, Varun told PTI, “Honestly, I never spoke to him on how I should approach the role."

Varun Dhawan who will be seen in the most-awaited film of the year Kalank on Wednesday opened up that he was aware that the film was earlier supposed to feature actor Shah Rukh Khan in the title role.

Kalank, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, features an all-star ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kemmu and Aditya Roy Kapur.

For the uninitiated, the film Kalank is a period drama helmed by Abhishek Varma and is scheduled to hit the screens on 17 April. Recently, the film trailer was out, and it soon took the whole Internet by storm shortly after its release.
