Fans, Rejoice! A Biopic On "Dhak-Dhak" Girl Madhuri Dixit In The Works

Madhuri Dixit is a success story which nobody can replicate! The diva, who started out in 1984 with Rajshri Productions’ Abodh, is still ruling millions of hearts all over the world.

Though her debut film did not fare well, Madhuri Dixit went on to establish herself as the leading actress in the late 1980s and 1990s. Some of her most successful films include Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1989), Dil (1990), Saajan (1991), Beta (1992), Khalnayak (1993), Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), Raja (1995), etc.

There is no denying the fact that such an illustrious career can inspire anyone. We hear that plans to bring her eventful journey on celluloid are already underway. Yes, you heard that right! A biopic on Madhuri Dixit is in the works in Bollywood. The actress is in talks with a leading production house to co-produce the project.

A trade source reveals to an Indian daily that Madhuri Dixit is in discussions with someone to bankroll a film on her life. “Yes, Madhuri is in discussions with someone to make a film on her life. Considering that she has a production house herself, she will be one of the producers if the project deal works out. Madhuri biopic is a wonderful idea, and she is still active in Bollywood,” the trade source reveals.

Madhuri Dixit has gone through a lot in her personal and professional life. Not many people from the younger generation know that she was written off post her debut film Abodh.

Madhuri Dixit was recently seen in Dharma Productions’ Kalank (2019), a period drama which also featured Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt in important roles. During the promotion of the film, Dixit had said that Alia Bhatt would be the best person to play her onscreen.
