Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Title Song: Anil's Iconic Song From '1942: A Love Story' Has A New Version

The makers of Sonam Kapoor’s forthcoming movie have just released the movie's title track named “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga”, which is also the same name of the movie. This song, which is all about another façade of love, is a beautiful retreat of an iconic song from the film '1942: A Love Story', composed by Rahul Dev Burman and featuring Anil Kapoor.

The new version has been written by Gurpreet Saini and performed by Rochak Kohli and Darshan Raval. Not only does this shows chemistry between Rajkummar and Sonam while Sonam confesses her feeling for a girl but also gives some hints about Juhi Chawla and Anil Kapoor’s sweet bonds in this movie.

Earlier, Sonam Kapoor had posted an interesting poster of this movie on Twitter. In the poster, Rajkummar is caressing her hair while she is looking at him.

The father-daughter duo, Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor will be seen together on the big screens for their first time. Anil plays as a father who is finding a husband for his beloved daughter and Sonam essays a Punjabi girl named Sweety who is lesbian. As Sweety grows, her parents begin finding a perfect groom for her but due to her secret, she cannot say yes to any man. However, when Sweety finds her true love, she is afraid that her family and society won’t accept it.

Rajkummar Rao will also be seen as Sonam’s friend who loves her. The movie’s trailer garnered a lot of praises because of its sensitive shot on same-sex love as well as its treatment in mainstream format. It is reported that Regina Cassandra plays as Sonam Kapoor’s girlfriend in this film. She can be seen sharing the scene with Sonam Kapoor in the movie’s trailer.

‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ will mark the directorial debut of director Shelly Chopra Dhar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister. It is all set to hit the theaters on 1^st February 2019.
