Today, 10 January, Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak has been out cinemas. As the expectation, the movie gets lots of praises from other celebrities and audiences. However, Chhapaak has been a hot controversy on Twitter when being compared with Uyare, a Malayalam film, released this year in April. Uyare is also a movie based on an acid attack survivor.

Deepika Padukone has spoken out about this controversy. The actress said that everyone has a different way to tell about acid attacks and each film has its own texture. And she thinks that it was nice when Shabana ji had done a movie last year and Uyare and Chhapaak have the same mission is supporting the fight against acid violence.
