It goes without saying the collaboration between Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan and Bollywood princess Sara Ali Khan in Coolie No.1 is hotly anticipated. Every new update about the film soon becomes headlines-breaking material. This time around is no exception.
The makers recently dropped the remade version of Tujhko Mirchi Lagi. The remake of iconic chartbusters from the last century is said to be way spicier. Varun and Sara step into the shoes of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor respectively. The youthfulness of the duo delivers a breath of fresh air to the song.
The song is performed by the duet Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu. It’s not getting a mixed response from the public.
Taking to his Instagram handle to share the song, Varun captioned,

Director David Dhawan, in an interview, talked about this new version of the classic song. He said that the tracks of the original film are all timeless and immensely popular. According to him, reusing these songs helped the film a lot. Not just this, Dhawan also revealed that music directors and the lyricist who produced the original are so close to him.
