The daughter of former model and actress Pooja Bedi, Alaia Furniturewala is sharing the screen space with superstar Saif Ali Khan in her first film. Seasoned actress Tabu is also playing an important character in the movie.

Even before her debut has its date with cinemas, the young actress has signed a three-movie deal with Jay Shewakramani, who is co-producing Jawaani Jaaneman along with Saif Ali Khan. Shewakramani owns Northern Lights Films.

Jawaani Jaaneman has been directed by filmmaker Nitin Kakkar. It is a coming of age film which features Alaia Furniturewala in the role of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter. The movie, which has been shot extensively in London, is scheduled to roll into theatres on 29^th November, 2019. It will clash with Fox Star Studios’ much-awaited romantic flick Dil Bechara, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sandhi in lead roles. It will be interesting to see which film wins the box-office battle upon release.
