Apart from Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman, his upcoming film 2.0 releasing on April 2 is another moving story which contains important messages to society. According to the actor, cinema is one of the most popular methods of communication to reach out to the public, not only in India but all over the world, at the same time.

Besides the purpose of entertaining people, movies are the best way to send out powerful messages and valuable lessons to the majority of society. He also added that the ultimate point of being an influencer must be about making use of your stage to improve your country. “This is my way of giving back,” said Akshay.

His Debut In Tamil Cinema With A Mega-budget Film

The 2.0 actor will be seen in the role of a weird scientist named Richard who helps the government investigate an unintelligible threat. This movie, which also stars megastar Rajinikanth, marks Akshay Kumar’s first step into Tamil cinema. The actor is so excited about his biggest film ever, in which he gets an entirely different role.

This mega-budget project is also the ninth-most expensive non-English-language film which costs up to Rs 540 core for the production. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth, 2.0 also features Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey.
