Urvashi Dholakia Reminisces About Time When She Slipped Into Massive Depression Because Of Her Twin Sons

Urvashi Dholakia, who is best remembered for playing the negative lead Komolika on Star Plus’ long-running show Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2001-2008), gets candid in her latest interview with a leading online publication.

For the unversed, Urvashi Dholakia has been a single mother to her twin sons Sagar and Kshitij from the age as young as 17. Talking to the publication, the actress reveals that she missed out on the opportunity of seeing her sons grow because of her professional commitments as she sent them to a boarding school when they were just 8-years-old.

Urvashi Dholakia tells the publication that the fact that she barely saw Sagar and Kshitij growing up and her inability to spend time with them did come to her mind. She adds that she had no other choice than sending them to the boarding school because her professional life was so consuming back then.

The talented actress goes on to add that she was never happy with the decision of sending her sons away from her. It put her under massive depression but, on the other hand, she had to do it for their better future.

Urvashi Dholakia is, however, happy that she is making for the lost time now. She says that she had to restart her work after a point and then she did Bigg Boss and that was the only time she was away from them. Then, she took a conscious decision of not wanting to work because she decided she have to see them grow because she couldn’t see them grow during their childhood.

Urvashi Dholakia has been away from the small screen for several years now. She was seen in the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 (2019) with her ex-boyfriend Anuj Sachdeva. We hope to see her soon on television.
