Taapsee Pannu recently interacted with her fans on Twitter. During a Q&A session with Filmfare, when a fan asked the award-winning actress if actors are also taking pay cuts like most of the other industries out there, Taapsee Pannu replied that though there has not been any pay cut so far, chances are high that it will.

The actress, who was most recently seen in Thappad (2020), said that because actors are not shooting anything these days, they are not getting any salaries either. She added that she is ready that their salaries will also get slashed.

Taapsee Panni was then asked if multiplex chains’ anger over films opting for a direct to digital release is valid. The actress said that she is not shocked to know that the multiplex owners are angry. Their anger is valid but everyone must wait and watch which way the wheels of time turn. Whoever can find a way out between the time and circumstances they have been presented with, will be successful.

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu has several exciting films on her platter right now. Some of her upcoming films include Haseen Dilruba, Shabash Mithu, Rashmi Rocket and Looop Lapeta. She also headlines an untitled Anurag Kashyap directorial.
