The Next Generation Of Apocalypse Survivors Will Be The Bottom Line Of A Third "Walking Dead" Series

According to AMC on Monday, the third still-unnamed drama show will set to premiere in 2020 on SundanceTV. This is the latest season in a long chain of projects for the Walking Dead universe.

The plot revolves around a moment in the post-apocalyptic timeline after the events of The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead.

Additionally, AMC reveals the spinoff will follow “two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it.” The announcement promised: “Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever.”

Taking over from the series in 2010 and 2015, AMC renews the series for a new spinoff and intents to continue further development of the series. Both shows happen in the coming years of a zombie apocalypse and shadows the trip of different survivor groups on the lookout for a new life. This season tends to draw the picture of the young who face extremely frightening situations: They have to make life-altering choices and figure out where they fall on the scale of good and evil.

David Madden, president of programming for AMC Networks says in a statement that the part of this new show is unlike any that The Walking Dead has dramatised thus far. The intense fans will be really excited to see what the filmmakers have been cooking up.

The new spinoff is co-created by Walking Dead universe chief content officer Scott M. Gimple and Walking Dead writer-producer Matt Negrete who will be the showrunner of the new series. Matt says “I'm beyond excited to be a part of this new show set in The Walking Dead universe.”

The new Walking Dead show is not the solely forthcoming scheme of AMC. The company are planning to produce a trilogy of Walking Dead films towards the characters Rick Grimes and Andrew Lincoln.

The new Walking Dead spin-off series is scheduled to begin production this summer and planned to the public in the coming year 2020.
