Bollywood Hungama’s reports are ripe that Colors channel, that airs the series, and Endemol, the producers, gave it a nod to pay Salman Khan a two-crore extra for a single episode so that the star would continue being the host.

A source revealed that Salman Khan had clarified his intent of stopping his stint on the show as he was busy with film projects such as producing Dabangg 3 when the shoot completed and filming for Radhe. In spite of that, Colors sweet-talked him to stay by giving his paycheque more zeros at the tail.

It was also claimed by the source that every year, Salman Khan gets a higher paycheque when returning as host.

According to the source, every single year when he first refuses to come back as an anchor, he is persuaded to stay with a hike in remuneration. The actor is paid higher to host Bigg Boss each season than any other anchor in regional languages altogether in all seasons.

Bigg Boss 13 sees the feature of solely celebrity contestants such as Asim Riaz, Arti Singh, Himanshi Khurana, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Mahira Sharma, Rashami Desai, Paras Chhabra, Shehnaz Gill, Vikas Fhatak, Shefali Jariwala, Vishal Aditya Singh and Sidharth Shukla competing to be the winner and to bag the trophy.
