"Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon" Actor Barun Sobti And Wife Pashmeen Welcomed Their First Child

Everyone is thrilled to hear the news of Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen Manchanda having welcomed their first child after eight years of marriage. Their daughter was born on June 28 and the parents have been able to keep the maternity under the headlight for a long while.

It was only unveiled a month prior to the baby being born, at the baby shower of Pashmeen. The couple has named their daughter Sifat.

, the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon star made confirmation in an interview with TOI.

The actor is ready to be a father and feels that he would be a realistic type of a parent to his child.

Barun and Pashmeen tied the knot in a Gurudwara in late 2010. Pashmeen was a student in an all-girls school but then transferred to a co-ed school in grade 9, and that was where she met the love of her life. They fell in love when they were young and now they have a child.

In real life, the actor is rather romantic like his character in his films and he usually courts his love with poetry.

Barun Sobti paved his way into television in 2009. He portrayed Swayam Khurana in the TV series Shraddha. He also played as the antagonist Dr. Raj in Dill Mill Gayye and spoiled brat Shravan Jaiswal in Baat Hamari Pakki.

Nonetheless, the role that brought him reputation was Arnav Singh Raizada in the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.
