Sasural Simar Ka Actor Ashiesh Roy Discharged From Hospital As He Has NO Money To Pay

TV and film actor Ashiesh Roy, who had appealed to fans for financial aid to pay hospital bills, has been discharged from the hospital as he doesn't have money for medical treatment anymore. According to some reports, he is at home now and his health is extremely deteriorated. His hospital bill was Rs 2 lakhs so he had no option but to take a discharge.

“I had to take discharge on May 24 as I had no more money to pay them. The bill was of Rs 2 lakhs and somehow I managed to pay that. My dialysis is still on and it will go on for two more months. I visit the hospital every alternate day and they charge Rs 2000 for three hours dialysis.”

The actor, who was admitted to a Mumbai hospital as he suffered a paralytic stroke, had earlier sought financial aid via social media. He even said that he sought help from veteran actor Salman Khan, however, he hasn't received any help.

“I have not received any help and I don’t know if my message even reached Salman Khan. I just want to get fine now and get back to work”.

The actor revealed he has been facing a money crunch and the situation has worsened owing to the lockdown. The 55-year-old used up his savings during the last six months when he cannot work and had to pay the bills for daily life and medical treatment.

Ashiesh Roy has been a part of the industry for the past two decades, wants to back on his feet, and gets back to acting to bear his own expenses.

Ashiesh Roy has starred in films such as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero, Home Delivery, and MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar. He has also worked in some TV shows such as Remix, Mere Angne Mein, and Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale.
