Little Girl Learns Sign Language To Communicate With Her Deaf Delivery Driver, Draws Him A Rainbow Picture Saying “Thank You”

The cute girl drew a rainbow picture as a gift to Tim saying “thank you” at the beginning of the lockdown. The deaf delivery driver has also hung her picture proudly in his van also.

Children always bring the most innocent and cutest things to the world and there are no two ways about it. Recently, a little girl has started up a warm friendship with her deaf delivery driver. In order to communicate with him, she learned sign language. Her sweet gesture, needless to say, melts the heart of millions of people.

During the lockdown, at least once a week, the eight-year-old girl, Tallulah, who is living in Greater Manchester, the UK, has seen the driver of her neighborhood, Tim Joseph.

Recognizing what he was doing amid the pandemic while everyone was practicing social distancing at home, the cute girl drew a rainbow picture as a gift to Tim saying “thank you” at the beginning of the lockdown. The deaf delivery driver has also hung her picture proudly in his van also.

However, Tallulah wanted to talk more with Tim, so she decided to learn sign language.

It was her mom Amy Roberts who recorded and uploaded the touching video about the heart-warming conversation between Tallulah and the deaf delivery driver on her social media handle. The video shows the 8-year-old girl greeting Tim who is flashing a bright smile at their front gate. They can be seen communicating through sign language and the girl signs, “have a good day.”

Overwhelmed by Tallulah’s gesture, Tim can be seen teaching her saying “good morning, have a good day” before the girl repeats it back to him. The driver then signs in exchange that “absolutely made my day.”

As soon as Amy shared the video on Twitter, it instantly went viral and her post was retweeted by thousands of Twitter users.

No prize for guessing, Amy is now floating on air with the gesture of her little daughter. It also reflects that she has raised Tallulah very well and a lot of people want to see the girl become a good person in the future.

The driver said he was stunned by heart-warming messages from many well-wishers. He also shared that he hopes more people will learn sign language as it's a way to bring more people closer.
