Hrithik Roshan Drops Some Interesting Details About His Superhero Flick “Krrish 4”

Hrithik Roshan is set to return to play much-loved Indian superhero Krrish once again in the fourth instalment of Krrish. The project is expected to roll this year.

Hrithik Roshan has delivered several blockbusters ever since making his acting debut with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai (2000) two decades ago. But Krrish, a character from his super successful sci-fi franchise Krrish, undoubtedly remains his most popular role among several film enthusiasts, especially children.

After the humongous success of Krrish 3 in 2013, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan announced that his team would return with the next instalment of the franchise soon. However, the project has been hitting the roadblock ever since, for one reason or the other.

For a while, there have been a lot of speculations about the fate of Krrish 4. And if fresh reports are to be believed, the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown has given the Roshans the perfect opportunity to work on the project.

A source close to the development informs a publication that Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan, with their team of writers, have been brainstorming on how to take the Krrish series forward and have finally locked an idea. Jadoo has strong recall value and they felt that with Rohit Mehra dying in Krrish 3, it would be the right time to introduce Krrish to the alien who gifted him his special powers.

Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan are currently working on the script. The father-son duo is planning to begin production as soon as possible. The two have been even discussing the scale of the film, visuals and other technical aspects with Hollywood expert.

Hrithik Roshan himself has given an elusive confirmation of Jadoo making a return in the fourth instalment of the franchise, saying that the world can do with some Jadoo now. There have been a lot of rumours about the leading lady in the forthcoming instalment. From Priyanka Chopra to Deepika Padukone, several names have cropped up as the possible female lead opposite Junior Roshan. However, the makers are yet to confirm if they have roped in any female lead as yet.
